Beta Band fansite

Amazon.co.uk have the cover artwork for the forthcoming Best Of The Beta Band DVD (which is released on 3rd October here in the UK)

As you can see from this image it features the landscape artwork from The Beta Band album, the Tiger, Firework and Star from The Three EPs, the text/logo from Heroes To Zeroes and the fireball from Hot Shots II. Some text in the middle of the fireball also reads ‘FILM’. Apparently on the CD release, the artwork has ‘MUSIC’ written in the middle (although Amazon.co.uk don’t have the image for this yet)

Thanks to those people that have joined up to the Beta Band fansite Blog

I guess we need to work out what this site is used for. I was primarily thinking of using it to post news on the Beta Band and the band’s side-projects, along with reviews of the ‘Best Of’ CD/DVD and photos and reviews of any forthcoming live shows (eg. Steve’s King Biscuit Time tour starting this weekend)

I don’t have access to the www.betaband.com FTP anymore so I figured I’d build an unofficial blog on betaband.co.uk to keep track of the reviews of the soon to be released Best Of The Beta Band DVD and CD

I’m also considering using this domain to put up the latest news on the various Beta Band side projects – King Biscuit Time, The Aliens etc.

Hopefully I might be able to get some of the old Beta Band message board members to give me a hand ? Give me a shout if you’re interested in getting involved
